Busy Weekend!

We had a very busy weekend. Friday was homecoming for Clear Springs so I took Colton to the carnival and then we went to the game that night. It was cold and rainy. Perfect football weather! Colton and Ty ran through the tunnel and loved it! Unfortunately, the Chargers lost. :-( Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkins. Colton found two small ones right away and carried those things around the whole time. He loves his pumpkins. that evening we went to a birthday party for one of the coaches kids and they had pony rides there. Colton rode on the miniature pony and now we think Meme and Pappy need to get a little saddle for Biscuit! then on Sunday, mom and I took the boys to the park and they played on the playground and we walked around the boardwalk. The weather was perfect! Then on Sunday night, we finished off the weekend with a little coloring. We had a wonderful weekend!

The Chargers won last week which puts them at 2-0 in district! Tomorrow is homecoming vs. Galveston Ball. Colton is super excited to run through the tunnel again. I go back to the dr. on Oct. 13 for the "big" ultrasound where they check to make sure everything is ok. I am 19 weeks this week and starting to feel the baby move a little. I am not looking forward to the weigh in part of the appt. because I know I've gained like 10 pounds this month. Uggg...Oh well. I will post pics from homecoming next week!

FOOTBALL!

Last night was the Chargers first district game and we beat Brazoswood! It was a cold and rainy night, the perfect football weather. Colton was ready though. I got him a slicker and an umbrella and he had a great night. At the beginning of the game, he got to run through the tunnel ahead of the football players and he was such a big boy and went all by himself. He loved it! Next week, we play Clear Lake. Go Chargers!

There has been so much going on lately. I turned 30 on September 19 and Charles actually had the day off so we got to spend it together. I got my beloved Dyson and am so happy about that since the new house is all carpet! I went to the dr. for my monthly exam and everything is going fine. I only gained 1/2 a pound but the dr. isn't worried. I'm sure I'll catch up! We went to the ultrasound to confirm the gender test on Friday and, yes, it's still a girl. Colton got to see the ultrasound but wasn't too impressed. He was more concerned about what the tech was doing to me than looking at the monitor. The Chargers start district on Thursday. Go Chargers! My nephew Ty turned 5 and had a birthday party. Here are some pics from the party.

Colton's 1st Day of School

Colton started back to Mothers Day Out on Thursday. He was ok until we got in there and a little boy started crying so he started crying. He will be fine and learn to love school like he did last year. Here is a pic of my little man.

Chargers Football

Last night the Chargers played Alvin Manvel and won 35 to 18. Colton got to run through the tunnel before the football players before the game. He was very excited about that and can't wait to do it next home game. Of course, I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures of it. I will be sure to bring it next time and get some video. I did get a cute picture of Colton and Charles after the game. Love it!
