Tractor Dumping the Ball

There have been tractors in the field by my mom's house for a couple of weeks because they are putting a road in and mom will take Colton to look at the tractors so he has developed an obsession with tractors lately. There is a toy tractor that mom has at her house and Colton will put little balls in there and dump them. He started saying "tractor dumping the ball" and it is the cutest thing. I got it on tape.

Colton's New Swingset

Here is Colton playing on his new swingset. Thank you Meme and Pappy for the swingset and thank you Daddy, Markie and PawPaw for helping put it together! We finally got our fence done. We extended our fence out toward the front yard which gave us a much bigger back yard. We love it! Colton will enjoy many hours playing on his new swingset and in his new yard!

Sick Baby

Colton has been sick the past few days. On Monday, he started running a fever so I got him in the doctor. He tested him for the flu and it came back negative. He told me to keep giving him Tylenol or Motrin and if his fever hadn't gone away by Friday that I should bring him back. Well on Tuesday I stayed home with him because he was still running a fever but then it went down. Last night his fever started up again and it was still high this morning. It has since gone down but we will keep an eye on it. He really doesn't have other symptoms besides a fever. He is being pretty cuddly though so I love that!

Building a Fence, Building a Fence, It's the only thing that makes any sense.

On Sunday, we finally finished our fence. Dad and Markie came over to help and we got it done. We extended our fence out a good 30 feet which gives us way more yard than we had before. We are planning on putting a short fence to fence it off and put Colton's swingset and things on one side and have the dogs have the other side of the yard. We are going to get the swingset this week and put it together this weekend and then we will be ready to play! Thank you dad and Mark for helping us finish the fence. Love you!

New Years....a little late

Here are the pictures from New Years. The mailbox completely blew off the post this year. It happened early too, at about 11, so most people missed it. I heard it was amazing. The little baby is Alexis. Mom is going to start watching her next week when her mom goes back to work. They live down the street from my parents.

Here is what I will look like in the summer.
Soccer season is in full force. Charles had his first scrimmage on Saturday at Pearland High School so me and the baby went to see his game. It's a lot different than football because I can actually let him walk around the bleachers since there aren't that many people at soccer games. It's a good thing too because that kid can't stay still! Today was Colton's first day back at school and I had been trying to prepare him by telling him we are going back to school. I would say, "Are you ready to see Ms. Rita?" and he would say, "No!" so I thought it might be rough to get him used to going back, but when I dropped him off this morning, he didn't cry. I was relieved! I am starting back at Weight Watchers tonight after a "brief" hiatus over the holidays! I don't think I have done that bad, but I guess we will see tonight. I won't eat anything all day and hopefully that will help at weigh in! Our company is starting their Biggest Loser contest on Monday so that will give me some extra incentive to lose the remaining 20 pounds that I have to lose. I am going to look hot at the river this year! No two piece, but I'll get a nice one piece MOM!

Happy New Year!

Well, 2008 is gone and we are looking forward to 2009. Hopefully this new year brings us more, exciting new things. Maybe we will be playing in a State Championship game in December? Maybe Colton will be getting a new brother or sister? You never know. Happy New Year to everyone and I will post pics of our party soon.
