Picture Day!

Today was picture day at school for Colton. We have been practicing his smile all week. Here are a few pics before we went to school. He was by far the most handsome kid in the class. They started taking them down to get their pics done when I dropped him off so I decided to peek around the corner and look. Big mistake! He started crying when he saw me but I was able to stay and he calmed down and took a really cute picture. I can't wait to see them!

Cool Trick!

Colton watches Yo Gabba Gabba. This was one of the "Cool Tricks" that they do on the show. We were eating and he just started putting the spoon on his nose. He is very talented!

New Videos!

Here are a couple of cute videos. Colton loves watching clips on You Tube. One of his favorites is a video of a puppy popping balloons. He gets very excited about this video. The other one is of him counting. He knows how to count to ten although in this video it was right before bed time and he was a little wound up and wasn't concentrating very well.

Silly Baby

Colton loves playing with his Mr. Potato Head. He thinks it's funny to put the glasses on himself. We are starting Waterbabies again tomorrow. Colton and Charles Spring Break is over so it's back to school and work!

Charles and I went to look at houses yesterday and found a lot that we liked. We still have a little bit to do on our house before we put it on the market but we are confident that we will find something we like.

Busy, Busy

Sorry it's been so long since I have posted but we have been busy, busy! Charles is on Spring Break this week so he has been watching the baby. I wanted to take at least one day off to spend with them but this is the week my newsletters are due at work so it had to be early in the week. I took Tuesday off and we did some things around the house. A couple of weeks ago we talked to a Realtor to figure out if we are ready to sell our house and buy a bigger one closer to our work. We figured out that we can afford to sell and buy right now but there are a few things we need to do around our house to get it ready to sell so we have been painting and fixing a few things here and there. Colton hasn't been feeling well lately. On Monday his fever got up to 103.4 so today Charles took him to the doctor. Turns out he has something called Herpangina? He has blisters on the back of his throat. It's viral so there isn't any medicine that they can give him but he told us to make a concoction of Maalox and Children's Benedryl and give that to him for pain. He doesn't act like it bothers him that bad. He is still able to eat really well, but when he drinks juices it hurts him so he always wants to drink milk. He has been talking up a storm lately. It's awesome to listen to him. We start waterbabies again on Tuesday. This time he is a little older so I think he will learn a lot more. I am excited about that. On March 31, Colton is taking school pictures so we have been practicing our smile. I have taken some pictures of his beautiful smile but I can't find my camera cord to upload them. When I do I will post them.

Soccer Ball

Soccer season is coming to an end. The last game is Friday. Colton will miss going to his daddy's games. He loves "occer." But you know what that means? FOOTBALL is right around the corner! Yeah! Here is a cute picture taken by the photographer that is at the soccer games. Perfect form!

Rodeo

Last night we took Colton to the Livestock Show and he had a blast! There was a little hill like thing that he was just loving! He would run down it and laugh and laugh! He also loved the Guina Pigs and, of course, the tractors. He had a wonderful time!

New Haircut and new boo boo

On Sunday, Colton got a fly new haircut. We went to Snip-It's, a new haircut place in Pearland. It's like Cool Cuts, but I like it better. As usual, he was a very good boy during his haircut. Then we got home and he was chasing after a ball and fell and hit his face on the side of the chair. His lip was bleeding pretty bad but it stopped and everything was fine again. It has left a mark though!
