15 month check up
Today was Colton's 15 month checkup. He weighs 24 lbs 7 oz. and is 31 inches tall. He's pretty much average for his age. They had to pull back his little weenie though because the skin was fusing together. They had to do this a few months back too. The dr. said it was because they leave too much skin these days when they do circumcisions. He didn't like that too much. They also gave him 3 shots today. We go back at 18 months and they won't have to give him any shots then. He is done until he turns two and then we get a couple more shots. Last night we went to Meet the Chragers night and the band was there and the cheerleaders and everything. Colton enjoyed that. He liked listening to the drums and watching the girls dance. Tomorrow is our first varsity football game. We are meeting the coaches wives at Chick Fil A and following them up there. It should be fun. Go Chargers.

Waterbabies
So we went to waterbabies last night. The water was cold but Colton quickly got used to it. He loves the water. At first he wasn't sure but when it was time to get out of the water and jump back in, he was loving it. He's fearless. Audrey was loving it too. She was a sexy baby with no top on. All the boys were staring. Daniel was by far the youngest but he looked like he was having a great time! All in all, I think waterbabies was a success. Hopefully Colton will learn to float on his back. He wasn't liking being on his back too much last night. My mom took Colton and Ty to Discovery Green yesterday also. That is her new favorite place. She said he was running around and the lifeguard guy was blowing the whistle at him. Like a 15 month old is really going to stop because someone is blowing a whistle at him. Idiot.

Weekend
This weekend was my 10 year reunion weekend. I was very excited about it and the reunion ending up sucking pretty bad. The weekend was good though. Robert came in on Thursday and stayed with us and we got to hang out probably more than we have since college. Before, he would come into town and we might do lunch or dinner but his parents lived here so we never got to spend long amounts of time together. This time we did and I enjoyed it since I know it probably won't happen again for a very long time. But back to the reunion. There were very few people I was genuinely glad to see. Maybe just 1 or 2. Charles was a good sport though. Even though he was exhausted and probably bored out of his mind, he came and made the best of it. Even if he was dressed exactly like Tracy's husband. :-) Then on Sunday we went to Audrey's first birthday and he had a great time because there were balloons in every corner. Doesn't take much to entertain this kid. We start swimming on Tuesday and we are very excited!

Haircut
Colton got a haircut yesterday. He needed one before he starts school and swimming classes. He was a good boy during the process. He sat and played in the car and watched Elmo while she cut. Charles didn't get home until 9 last night so he didn't get to see the baby again. Once this week is over, hopefully it won't be so late all the time. My reunion is coming up and I'm pretty excited. Not that I really care to talk to most of those people, but I want to see what they look like.

Birds, Bath, Balloons and Bananas
Some of Colton's favorite words. He says "bird" perfectly although he doesn't know the different between a plane and a bird and so anything that is in the sky is a bird. His obsession with balloons has not diminished and he loves bananas and baths. He tries to climb in the bathtub with his clothes on everytime I say it's bath time. Very silly little boy. On the other hand, Charles has started school so we really haven't seen him the past two days. He leaves the house around 4:45 and doesn't get home until 8:45 or 9. This morning he didn't have early morning practice so he did get to see the baby for the first time in two days. Poor guy. He's exhausted when he gets home. Oh the life of a high school football coach.

Colton school and swimming!
Colton is going to start a mothers day out program at the Baptist Church on Sept. 9. I'm not too sure how he will like it. He's been pretty clingy lately. I think once he gets used to it he will be ok. It's only two days a week. We are also starting mommy and me waterbabies classes on August 26th. He is going to love that! He loves the water. Sheri and Lauren are signed up with Daniel and Audrey so it should be lots of fun. My mom took him to the Children's Museum yesterday and he had a ball! He got his face painted and played with all the fun stuff. I am going to have to take him there on the weekend. My 10 year high school reunion is on Saturday. Robert is coming into town on Thursday and we are going to lunch with Sheri on Friday. I'm really looking forward to it. Especially since I lost 25 lbs!
